Help / Train Scarlett / Set up your services and prices

Who this is for

You want Scarlett to know exactly what you offer. This list is how she answers "do you do X?", how she quotes a starting price when you have one, and how she picks the right slot length when she books.

Time: 10 minutes. You'll need: to be the owner.

Before you start

Steps

The Services list showing services with a description, a 'from' price and a duration each, plus an on/off toggle and an Edit button.
Each service she can offer, with an optional price and a duration.

1. Add or edit a service

On Train Scarlett → Services, press Add service, or Edit an existing one. Each service has:

  • Service name and a description (what Scarlett tells callers).
  • Price from — optional.
  • Typical duration in minutes.

2. Decide how you price it

  • Leave the price blank and Scarlett stays vague ("priced on inspection") rather than quoting — useful when every job is different.
  • Set a "from" price and she'll quote it as a starting point.

3. Set the duration

Duration drives how long a booking blocks out in your calendar, so a 4-hour job doesn't get a 30-minute slot. Set it to a realistic typical length.

4. Turn seasonal work off rather than deleting

Use the toggle to switch a service off when it's out of season — she stops offering it but keeps it for later. Delete only what you'll never offer again.

Verify it worked

Your active services show in the list, and under Test agent Scarlett offers them (and quotes the "from" price where you set one).

Troubleshooting

Scarlett quoted "priced on inspection" when I expected a number. That service has no Price from — add one, or leave it blank on purpose.

A booking blocked the wrong amount of time. Fix the service's duration — that's what sets the slot length.
