Who this is for
You want to choose how Scarlett sounds, and — if you like — the AI models behind her. Most traders only touch the voice; the defaults are set up to work well out of the box.
Time: 5 minutes. You'll need: to be the owner.
Before you start
- Train Scarlett on your business — the voice affects every future call.
The Model Switcher
Train Scarlett → Voice is a "Model Switcher" with four choices. Each shows the live options as Active and future ones as Coming soon.

| Choice | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Voice | The specific voice callers hear | Amelia (British, Midlands) |
| LLM model | Decides what she replies | Claude Sonnet — fast and accurate |
| Speech-to-text | Transcribes the caller | Speechmatics — strong on UK accents |
| Text-to-speech | Gives her a voice | ElevenLabs — best British voices |
Steps
1. Pick a voice
Under Voice, choose a voice from the British group. Press the play button on a tile to preview it. Your choice takes effect on the next call — existing recordings keep the voice they were made with.
2. Leave the models alone unless you have a reason
The LLM, speech-to-text and text-to-speech defaults suit almost everyone. Change the LLM to a more capable model for tricky conversations, or a cheaper one for very high call volumes — otherwise leave them.
Verify it worked
The voice you picked shows as Selected, and the banner at the top of the page confirms changes take effect on the next call to your business number.
Troubleshooting
"Voices unavailable." The text-to-speech provider couldn't be reached just then. Try again in a moment.
My voice change didn't affect a call. Changes apply to the next call. If nothing changes at all, check your business number is on file — the banner at the top says whether it is.
